Firstly, it’s illegal to read and to drive – you just can’t do that! People are texting and twittering when they’re driving and we all know you shouldn’t do that, says Adria Firestone, performance coach, teacher, singer and writer.
Let’s just take transportation first of all. The possibility of being in a car, being on a train, being in a plane, being anywhere where you’re going from point A to point B, think about the pleasure of being able to shut out the world, create your own cocoon, stick in your ear plugs, and walk into a magical world. An audio book is like walking into another world.
Now, let’s say you want to learn another language, let’s say you want to read a fabulous mystery novel, and you don’t have any time, because you’re spending half of your time on the freeway in California. So, the perfect way is an audio book.
It’s extremely safe. You’re not going to hit the guy in front of you, nor are you going to experience road rage, because you’re being entertained. You’re sitting back in your car and enjoying being surrounded by a quality actor reading a quality book, something that’s going to take you on a journey, and yet still you have the full use of your hands and eyes. You can be safe, you can be relaxed. It’s like taking your arm chair and blanket with you. Especially on the subway in the morning in Manhattan, you want to be left alone! You’re crowded in like sardines, and yet these little ear phones can take you from Peru to Paris on a fabulous journey.
It’s high level entertainment, a bit like a radio play, and the best part is you get to hear fabulous actors, who are going to take you into their interpretation of the book with character distinctions, accents with inflections, with adding suspense, with dynamics – loud and soft, with excitement, and with pacing – fast or slow. You can live the drama!
This world of audio books is expanding so incredibly with fabulous people performing titles. Every day more people are coming into the business and more and more people are realising that this is not, let me just pick up a book and read it, this is theatre! They are called voice actors for a reason. It is a tremendous skill and a tremendous amount of training goes into voice acting. So that’s why these wonderful actors are able to take you on these journeys.
It’s uninterrupted special time, your time, a gift to yourself.
For some of us, there was a time when you were a little kid and maybe you weren’t feeling well.. and your grandfather would come and tuck you into bed and read you a story, and everything was better, everything felt fine. You could close your eyes and slip into the dreamland of this magical world created for you. That’s what an audio book and a voice actor can do.
It’s intimate and it’s personal – how amazing to hear in some cases an author telling their own story. And what a wonderful way to learn things. You can have a library of knowledge. You can listen to philosophy, you can learn Chinese, there’s so much in our world that is open to us, this is something we really need to enjoy. Take advantage of it. Experience an audio book and I don’t think you’ll ever be the same.

Books can help, but the answer always lies within yourself.
You must be careful though, that your mind is as if on a train. If you find yourself saying, “I’m a Nihilist” or “I’m a Communist” or any other “-ist” you’ve given up and relied upon others to give you the answer. Learn from them, yes-this is how knowledge is gained. But wisdom cannot be revealed or given, it can only be realized.
Or not.
No matter how much I read, studied or debated, it wasn’t until I developed honest introspect that I began to truly see how things worked.

Scuttlers: these creatures range in size and colour. They are spider like and they do use webing. These scuttlers are controled by other beings. Laptops were still fairly rare and new back in 1982 and colour screens started becoming a common upgrade in 1991 so no doubt this was very advanced technology that was being used at the time!

two agents linked to this were killed in worthing when a car hit them at night, outright dead. A black van turned up and removed police from the scene and guarded the bodies until a chopper turned up to escort them away. The local coroner was silenced, the make of the car that hit them was changed and the news reported that a woman had been killed. None of the witnesses were interviewed by any of the police and the name given to the case was named after a place near where barry lives, madness.
@misterbig290 Also watch the clip carefully. If these guys were fireman then the stripes on their uniforms would be very clear under the light yet there are no stripes at all. Also watch their legs when they walk and the glowing hands. In one of the clips, as the tall things walk to the right, you see the firman standing in front of one of the engines in the last second of the clip. I remember looking down the hill through binoculars and seeing military vehicles searching fields with fllodlights
@misterbig290 By the way, james is talking about me in the video, the tall guy. All I remember from that night was seeing a large silver triangular craft fly down from the stars and a smaller gren craft appeared to fly out of the front of it at least a couple of miles above the ground and it came down and flew within 40 feet of me and over to where the military were with the firemen etc.. I remember driving into the site and talking to someone in a uniform and i also remember leaving, that’s all
@misterbig290 You can see it in these videos “Gridkeeper – You Are The One ( 2011 Club Mix )” “Hatonn Pleiades Connection Part 2 ” In this video there’s a still where they’re facing in the direction of the camera and it looks like they have wings, horns and long necks, very strange. “Hatonn Pleiades Connection part 1 ” It says in one of the videos that they’re fireman. That’s not true. At the time it was uploaded we were getting grief from mi5 but now i don’t really care what they think.

@misterbig290 That’s what I’m trying to sort out but it’s not looking too good. As they pick the body up all their hands glow and then they stand it up and it starts walking. The next day I went to the fire station and they told me a complete lie about what happend. Was the most surreal night I’ve had that I can remember. I’ll watch the video and see if I can add here anything that James may have missed.
